What Is a Low-Temp Refrigeration System?

A low-temp system maintains below-freezing temperatures, generally from about 0°F down to -20°F, and powers walk-in freezers and other frozen storage applications. Industries beyond food service rely on low-temp systems too, including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and electronics manufacturing, anywhere products need to stay frozen to remain stable or usable.

How Does Low-Temp Differ From Medium-Temp and Ultra-Low-Temp?

Medium-temp systems run above freezing, typically 35°F to 45°F, and power coolers rather than freezers. Low-temp systems run below freezing and power standard freezers.
