1. Quote/Sales Order Validity
All quotes/sales orders provided by Barr, Inc. are valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issuance. Prices and availability are subject to change if the order is not confirmed within this window.
2. Custom Orders & Deposits
Because custom orders are built to your unique specifications:
- No Cancellations: Once a custom order is placed and processing has begun, it cannot be cancelled or revised.
- Non-Refundable: All payments toward custom orders are non-refundable.
- No Returns: Custom-built orders are not eligible for return or exchange, outside of manufacturer defects.
3. Returns of Standard (Unused) Products
For standard, non-customized products:
- Return Authorization: No returns will be accepted without prior written authorization. Final approval for any return rests solely with Barr, Inc. and is reserved for exceptional cases.
- Eligibility: Authorized returns are only accepted for products in their original packaging within 14 calendar days of shipment.
- Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with the return, and original shipping charges are non-refundable.
4. Order Cancellation and Restocking
Cancelled Orders and Returns are subject to restocking fees as follows:
- Stock Items – 15% of the order value
- Non-stock Items – 25% of the order value
- Custom Order Items – 100% of the order value
Any order not accepted prior to 150 days will be considered abandoned and subject to the restocking fees listed above.
5. Lead Times & Availability
Lead times provided at the time of order are estimates only. Actual delivery dates depend entirely on the availability of the manufacturer and are subject to change based on production schedules or supply chain factors beyond the control of Barr, Inc. Customers are expected to take shipment within (2) weeks of product availability. Barr, Inc. reserves the right to assess storage charges for any units that are held for (60) days or longer beyond product availability. Storage fees are assessed at 2% of the order value each month (not inclusive of freight).
6. Shipping Claims & Damage
It is the customer's responsibility to inspect all items thoroughly upon delivery.
- Notation Requirement: Any product damage or discrepancies must be noted on the Bill of Lading (BOL) at the time of receipt.
- Claims: Failure to note damage or discrepancies on the BOL may result in the carrier denying the claim, in which case Barr, Inc. will be unable to provide a replacement or credit.
7. Warranties
All products are sold with the manufacturers' warranties (terms available). Customers have the option to purchase additional compressor coverage on applicable products (subject to separate terms and conditions). Aside from the manufacturer’s original warranty and the optional extended compressor coverage (if purchased), Barr, Inc. makes no additional warranties, express or implied
